The Brief
The clients wanted a home that feels calm in every season, with the view across the water as the main event. They work from home and needed a study that felt part of the living space, not a spare room.
The Plan
We opened the main living area across two walls of glass, with the kitchen set behind a dark island and a sculptural range hood. The study, bedroom and bathroom each take a corner of the plan, so every room has its own window onto the water.

Materials and Finish
Pale oak floors and joinery, soft plaster walls and black window frames that sharpen the view. Linen, wool and a deep, low sofa keep the living room warm, and a halo pendant adds a light touch overhead.
Living in It
Morning light reaches the dining table first and moves across the living room through the day. In the evening the whole house turns towards the sunset over the water.
