Terms of Service

Last updated: 3 November 2026

These terms apply when you visit the Timber & Stone website. By using the site, you agree to them. If you engage us for design or architectural services, that work is covered by a separate written agreement, which takes priority over these terms.

Using our website

You’re welcome to browse the site, read our journal and contact us about a project. Please don’t use the site in a way that could damage it, interfere with other visitors or break the law.

Our content

The designs, drawings, photographs and writing on this site belong to Timber & Stone or the people who have given us permission to use them. You can view and share links to our pages for personal use. Please don’t copy, reproduce or publish our content without asking us first.

Project photography

Many of the homes shown on this site belong to our clients, and we share them with their permission. Please respect their privacy and don’t try to identify or visit these homes.

Enquiries

Sending us an enquiry doesn’t create an agreement between us. We’ll reply to discuss your project, and any work only begins once we’ve both signed a written agreement. We handle the information you send us as described in our Privacy Policy.

General information only

Our journal and other content share general ideas about design and building. They aren’t advice for your particular home or site. Please speak with us or another qualified professional before making decisions based on them.

Links to other websites

We sometimes link to other websites. We don’t control them and aren’t responsible for their content or how they handle your information.

Our liability

We work to keep the site accurate and available, but we can’t promise it will always be error-free or uninterrupted. To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for any loss arising from your use of the site. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page, with the date it was last updated.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
